Grub City - The Za

Nothin’ like your ‘ometown pizza joint amirite? The taste puts ya in a time machine to nostalgic memories fr fr. Shoutout to the delish OG spot Pinnochio’s Pizza in Media, PA. They’ve been on their mish since 1955 and are the oldest pizza shop in Delco. It was the place to be for a little celebrash after you and the boys won a chip back in little league. The all-you-can eat pizza special is maddddd dangerous. One time I crushed 13 slices after winnin’ the Region 30 CYO Baseball Championship for Our Lady of Charity. Felt like an ‘Ometown Ero in my ‘Ometown Pizza Parlor. Americans eat an average of 23 pounds of pizza per year and I might have done that all in one night.

Football season is coming and that means it’s time for an all-time classic to come back. You wanna talk about a guy on an absolute MISH it’s Delco’s own Kevin McGonigle from Bonner High School in Drexel Hill. GRATS to Kev for his call-up to Double-A Erie, my guy’s already got seven bombs in 30 games and has unreal potensh. He rakes, he mashes, he’s got that sweet swing. He’ll go big fly, he’ll go yahtzee, he’ll go big round tripper but he’s still a gap-to-gap guy. Stay on your mish kid keep doing your thing and we’ll see you in the bigs soon for the Detroit Tigers 💯.
